Welcome to our unique and stylish 3-bedroom rental cottage located in the Shimoda, Shizuoka Prefecture, Sai is tucked away in the\u00a0 cozy Kisane Valley behind Kisami Ohama Beach. With its engaging design, thoughtful amenities, and use of upcycled and repurposed materials, this cottage is truly one-of-a-kind.<\/p>

From the moment you step inside, you’ll be struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The cottage is designed with an open floor plan that seamlessly connects the living, outdoor dining, and kitchen areas, creating a spacious and airy feel. The floors are made from reclaimed wood and the walls are adorned with antique clock parts, the numerous glass doors and windows have been salvaged from old buildings, giving the space a rustic yet modern vibe.<\/p>

One of the standout features of the cottage is the large deck, which provides rejuvenating views of the surrounding woods, after rain you can hear the trickle of the creek below.<\/p>

The deck is made from upcycled scaffolding and repurposed telephone poles. The outdoor area is furnished with comfortable seating, hammocks, and a dining table, perfect for enjoying meals al fresco or just relaxing with a good book.<\/p>

The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and countertops, a gas stove, large fridge with freezer, providing ample space for cooking and entertaining. The backsplash is made from repurposed tiles and the bar seating is custom-made using upcycled denim and touches of driftwood collected from the local beaches.<\/p>

The three Japanese-style bedrooms located on the upper level are simply decorated and comfortable. The bedrooms offer flexibility with Japanese style futons that can be re-arranged to suit occupancy. Each bedroom has unique touches like recycled tables and hand-made zabuton cushions.<\/p>

The bathroom is located on the main level and features a large walk-in shower with western style tub.. Soft, fluffy towels and eco-friendly toiletries are provided for your comfort and convenience.<\/p>

Throughout the cottage, you’ll find unique and thoughtful touches that showcase our commitment to sustainability and wabi-sabi esthetic. From the repurposed windows to the upcycled copper backsplashes, every aspect of the cottage has been designed with both style and sustainability in mind.<\/p>
